What Does Garage Organization Cost in Victoria BC?

Most quotes for garage work in Victoria arrive as a single number with no explanation, which leaves you guessing whether it's fair. So here are our actual prices, and — more usefully — the four things that move them.
A one-visit garage reset with ClearWay Garage Victoria starts at $750. A typical two-car garage lands between $1,300 and $2,095. A large, dense three-car space with custom storage runs to $3,495.
That's a wide range. Here's what decides where you fall in it.
The four things that change your price
1 — How many bays
One car, two cars, three. This is the floor of the estimate and the only part you can't change. Floor space is the work.
2 — Density, not mess
We don't price on how untidy a garage looks. We price on how much is in it. A light-density two-car garage — bikes, tools, some bins, a clear path — is a different day's work from one packed shoulder-height with twenty years of a family's belongings. Same square footage, twice the handling.
Density is why an online calculator can't quote you properly and why we walk the space first.
3 — Which tier
Three levels, and the difference is how much decision-making you hand over.
Essential — we sort, group, and put everything back in a system that makes sense. From $750.
Signature — the same, plus a labelled bin system and a layout designed around how you actually use the space. Our most-chosen tier. Includes a 30-day touch-up visit.
White Glove — everything above, plus the fine detail: every category labelled, every zone documented, a longer touch-up window.
4 — Materials, at cost plus 20%
Bins, shelving, hooks, labels. We buy them, you pay what we paid plus 12% for the sourcing and handling. No hidden markup, and you keep the receipts.
If you'd rather use what you already own, we will. Plenty of garages need a plan more than they need product.
What isn't in the price
Two honest exclusions, so there's no surprise on the invoice.
Built-in storage — cabinets, slat wall, floor-to-ceiling units — is a separate quote. It's real carpentry, delivered with our build partner, and it's priced per job.
Travel beyond the core zones. Victoria, Saanich, Langford and Colwood carry no travel charge. Sidney and Sooke add a modest amount. Duncan and Nanaimo we serve for garage resets with a flat travel charge by zone.
What a garage reset actually includes
A free 20-minute walkaround before you commit to anything
One visit, start to finish, usually a single day
Sorting into keep, relocate, and dispose — we handle the disposal run
A layout built around how your household moves through the space
Everything back in place before we leave. No boxes in the driveway overnight
A 30-day touch-up visit on Signature and White Glove
We're not a junk-removal company. Disposal is one part of the day, not the point of it. The point is that the space works afterwards.
The cheapest option isn't always the cheapest
A $400 clean-out that puts everything back on the same overloaded shelf buys you about four months. You'll pay twice. What holds is a layout matched to the household — where the kids' gear lands at kid height, where the seasonal bins live above the reach zone, where the bikes go so nobody has to move three of them to get one out.
That's the difference between tidying a garage and resetting one.
Getting an actual number
The walkaround is 20 minutes and free. We measure, count the bays, look honestly at the density, and you get a written quote — usually the same evening. No obligation, and no sales visit disguised as an estimate.
Book a free 20-minute walkaround Evenings Tuesday to Saturday, 5:30–8:30pm. All day Sunday and Monday.
